Name: Diana
EDD: June 19th or 20th 2006
Gender of baby (if known): unknown
Nursery decor (if known): I'm not doing a nursery, but the children's room is going to be Winnie the pooh and friends themed once I get going on it.
Baby's name (if known): Either James or Kyra (pronounced Kear-ah)
TYPE of swap you are interested in (New, used, or both): both
Price limit or No limit (You may further discuss this with your "swapee"): I'd prefer limit
Websites, links, registries and other sources containing items you are interested in: None yet, I can't find any place with decently priced and attractive unisex infant clothing (anything with ducks or teddy bears on it will be a hit with me, tho)! I am planning to make most of the textiles in the decor for the kids' room, so I am definately interested in Pooh themed fabrics and the like. I am also interested in getting cloth diapers, unisex is a plus!
Your preferred source for swapping personal information (name and address) i.e. e-mail, comment, etc.: either, I will use whatever method is preferable for my swapee.

Additional stuff: If you want to do a big brother/big sister swap, I have a toddler as well and would be willing to do that and share the love with the older kids!

I just went through my lil ones clothes trying to skim out the things I no longer wanted (because there is sooo much and she isn't even here yet) and I have some Pooh stuff, maybe even an outfit or 2 that would fit a toddler depending on his size :)

I'm into Baby Looney tunes but as far as clothing don't really need anything other them maybe stocking up on booties/socks/hats.Can never have enough since I live in Alaska.I need to seriously go through everything again and make a list of what I have/need/would like again so it's updated for swapping.lol

Booties socks and hats I can do! I can even make a couple crocheted booties and hats if you like. I have this adorable pattern for crocheted mary jane booties if you are interested.

I crochet too, but I'm open to to it cuz I love getting them from other people also.I'd have to admit that I've been bad & haven't crocheted a single thing yet for Lyric! But it's because I've spent soooo much time crocheting for friends' kids over the last few years I'm being lazy and trying to find something new to make for her.

Crocheted mary janes would be awesome.I have this pattern for a baby poncho/hat that my mom printed out for me at one point but the pattern for the mary janes got cut off :(

i'm getting myself motivated as i type to go out to the van where the bag of clothes i was planning on having my mom take to work (works w/ families w/ infants & small kids and she usually take an outfit for the new babies)....anyhoo, gotta dig out the Pooh stuff and look at sizes.

I've made one pair of booties and one 'lap blanket' for the baby so far, and that's it, lol. I'm way behind.

I got the mary jane pattern off the internet, they are so tiny and cute!

Ok, I will make you booties with a hat, and then we'll go from there once you have some clothes pulled out and see what will pull us 'even' so to speak!

I got some pictures loaded onto the computer of Pooh Items I found.
Unfortunitly it's all toddler stuff, the infant stuff I found is very girly and since u don't know what your having that won't really work.lol

That's ok, I will look around for baby stuff some more, but toddler stuff is appreciated anyway! I can whip you up a hat and booties this weekend if you don't mind my using some yarn that I already have (it's a baby mix with pale green, pink, blue, yellow and white in it), or if you'd rather wait until I can get to the store and pick out something else I can do that (I'll be shopping on Tuesday if I have payday right in my head).

That's fine, I will get started on those booties after Gyven goes to bed, his nap wasn't long enough for me to do anything today!

It's been a long night and my email is being a butt about attaching pics!blah!!
On a good note out of all my running around today I did get my glider from BD's house and into storage. Also got to sit and just bs w/ him for about 20 min w/ NO FIGHTING :) Also was invited to a BBQ by another friend and had a great time...good food! I'm still stuffed and I stopped eating like 4 hours ago, it's gotta be a record for me since being preg too cuz Lyric is like her daddy and ALWAYS wants me to eat.lol

Pictures of Pooh stuff:

these i thought Gyven would just look adorable in :)
if you'd still like to see the pics of the other shirts let me know.

Aww, those are cute! The PJs are precious! (And two pieces may be easier to wrangle him into, lol!). Those look great!

I got the hat finished last night, and I'll get the booties done either today or tomorrow. For some reason the hat looks really tiny, but then it has been a while since I had a newborn. I might re-do it anyway, it just seems like it would come right off. Plus I'm not satisfied with the way it came together (the slip stitches connecting the rounds kind of stick up, I think). I'm so picky! Lol, I'll take a picture when the booties are done and you can tell me if you agree with me or not.

Yea, I'd start over and keep this one for myself, but I put ruffles on it around the bottom, and that's clearly girly and if I have a boy I can't use it! Ugh, and I lack the motivation to start over tonight, it's been a crappy day and I'm SOOO stressed! I just want to take a bath and make it all go away for an hour, lol.

Ok, I'm having a total brain dead moment, what does BD mean, and if it means baby daddy, are you and the dad not together? Me = confused, lol! It's so hard to keep track of where everyone is relationship wise with the other parent, and since a lot of people don't say, I get terribly lost when these sorts of things are mentioned!

Oh, and I got two booties made, and apparently I didn't pay close enough attention to my gauge because this yarn is thinner than the pattern calls for, and they could fit a preemie, or maybe a newborn the first week, oops! Problem is, if I make them with a bigger needle, baby's toes will poke out, so I gotta find another bootie pattern or figure out how to make this one bigger (not as easy as changing the size of a hat, lemme tell ya!). Ugh! Crochet is not as easy as sewing for me, I'm so tempted to go make you a cute bebe bonnet and buy you some cute booties to match instead, lol! Ugh, so picky is me!

Yes, BD= baby daddy :)
We aren't together at this time. We've known each other for about 3 years and dated the last yr of that.Had some problems so I broke it off and had him move out so I could figure things out for myself. We continued on as if we were still together and about 2 months later-we're pregnant!Long story short, things we're great the first couple months, but then enter the new gf and it's hell. She expects him to just turn and walk away..he did for about a week but couldn't so she's not a happy camper to say the least and hates that he still talks to me, BUT this is the first baby for both and we planned for a baby/marriage etc while together.
She seems to think that relationships/kids are some kind of game (married w/ 2 kids of her own) and since she plays it that way the rest of us should though he's beginning to put his foot down and don't see her being around too much longer-thank goodness! :)

LOL.I totally understand it's not as easy as w/ a hat.Do whatever is easier for me.I won't hold it against ya, I promise.I've done that w/ booties myself.lol

Yea, that is an ugly sitch, and jeeze she sounds like a bitch! Ugh, it's so not a game, I wish my son's dad would see that. It took me from last July after I moved out until just a few weeks ago to start getting child support! Ugh! And he thought he was going to get married to some other girl not that long ago until she broke it off. Insanity! Gyven is his second son and he just totally doesn't get why it's a problem that he isn't more responsible for his kids. When we were together he had a hard time being responsible, tho, so I guess I really shouldn't be surprised! I'm just glad we were able to get child support without going through the state. That woulda been a pain.

Augh! I tried another bootie pattern and I ended up with something that might fit my toddler! I give up! I'll send you the 'preemie' booties for giggles, and then buy you a pair and redo the hat. I'm just totally frustrated by it and I quit, lol! I'll take pictures of everything so you can laugh at how deformed my second attempt came out. It seriously is hilariously ugly. Lol, I am so amused by it!
